In my experience fishing rods dont spawn that much compared to other deadly items such as blazes and vexes

the only counter against vexes is shield
which is rare to get aside from crafting one
at least you dont see ender dragons or withers now

The major weakness of the fishing rod is that if you are crouched and dont get yoinked upwards you wont get pulled of

less distance than snowball or egg

Oh and vexes arent really a problem either because if you time your hits you can knock them back constantly because they take a lot of knockback
And imo nothing should be removed because people still need to get the item

I dont think so but even if he did if the evoker that spawned the vexes dies the vexes will die a bit later anyway
