The gyazo link is a regular html page with the opengraph tags and og:image set to the raw location of the screenshot

I'm pretty sure it's to do with the order of your tests, since some of them run Icicle.loadIcicle() which installs the Byte buddy agent before the UnsatisfiedDependencyTest test runs. I was able to get it to succeed only when the tests ran in a specific order. Also, this project is horrible to get setup properly inside Intellij :D

I'm having trouble replacing the "dead_horn_coral.json" file in the models/blocks section of my resource pack. I made a new model with blockbench and exported it with the name "dead_horn_coral.json" (following a relatively old tutorial) and put it in the models/blocks section. I'm not sure if this method is deprecated or not. And I didn't think I would have to specify an override because it doesn't use any model data because its a block.

wdym c++ is used in alot of places still

its a good starting language that can go along way, thats why i choose it

Very much a factual statement, Currently kind of language-hopping honestly, I know it's bad practice, but I pick up info better when I do something actually useful (mc plugin for a friend etc), lets me do research without getting bored :p

I wanted a winforms app so I made very very basic stuff with c#.net, then hopped to c++ learned the very basics, and got distracted making a minecraft plugin now in java, all of that while learning javascript in school, and python last year

when i was in school i remember having a class about keyboard shortcuts and honestly, it was a joke at the time but im glad i took it

put it this way you'll never learn a language "properly" since there's so much you can do across massive spectrums of problems with languages always expanding
if jumping from one language to another to learn how to solve a problem is the way you enjoy doing it, that's fine

emphasis on always expanding, my school taught us stuff but it felt like the classes hadnt been updated in 10 years, and because of that i felt like i didnt learn everything i should have. its super important to keep up with programming and make it a hobby because theres always stuff to learn or talk about in forums

it's odd right because my school was teaching me python 3.2 and using outdated gui libraries and what not. but afterwards I realised how much that was useful to me to use older libraries/versions as it sparked my interest into researching newer libraries and how to use them

but then there's elegancy in simplicity I guess, not needing to learn a "complicated" IDE when a simple tool already exists

it amazes me how many people (i even see it here) think you need to start from scratch but thats not really what programming is about, theres tools made so newer prgrammers can leech off and use these libraries, making their lives easier

I remember back years ago when I was still learning java one time where I used trigononetry in a minigame and for around 6 hours I still couldn't figure out why my on-hand calculator would give me different results than with Java. Turns out Java works with radians and I've been working with degrees. fun times

It's like a battle royale, where your have limited respawns depending on how much time you have left

and you can go to shops around the map to buy gear, but it costs time to buy it. But you can also loot crates to get loot. ANd killing people gives you extra time

To make a similar gamemode on java, but besides time your lives are determined on player level.

And you spawn in at level 4, but if you fall below a power level of 2 you die.
And every time you die your power level gets cut in half

It's a bit of a mix of Chronos and Forza's "Eliminator" battle royale
