if you do know how did they make the wizard kit armors dye the most bluest than dyed in a cauldron? @brisk badge

woeful crystal
#

found out i could use unviserse mc editor and take java color codes and replace it there

brisk badge
# woeful crystal if you do know how did they make the wizard kit armors dye the most bluest than ...

They can make it with the help of plugins, which have, especially in bedrock, a lot more possibilities. You can dye leather armor in any colour you want with that method, which is also possible in Java with commands. In bedrock, I don't think there is a way to give dyed armor items, so you'll have to dye them manually, put them in a chest, clone the chest to the position of the player and destroy the chest and the chest item.

#

You can't use any color though; you are bound to the colors minecraft has provided: the dyes

woeful crystal
#

I mean at least I found one way and it worked

I needed it for a map I was making

You have to access your game files as it mentions in that URL
use a file manager on your phone to zip the contents of the world folder and rename it to .mcworld

spring tiger

when you access the zip what are its contents

tepid chasm
#

ignore that world icon btw 🤫🤫

  1. First of all, almost every household in Anglo-America and Europe has at least two functional computers in their home and makes it a common feature to be home.

Unless he is not from these regions, not having a Computer is very unusual.

Do you even know what a stereotype is?
Apparently you do not.
A stereotype is an image you have in mind (usually of a group)which is untrue or uncommon).

And about the stuff I mentioned about, I never addressed or targeted a group.
All I did was saying that it us common for a household in NA and EU to have at least one PC.

First of all, learn reading and don't interpret or mix up the words of someone else.

Secondly,learn the actual meaning of words, such as stereotype.

The only one who is being a clown right now is you.

I don't want the other parts of the addon but "crawl" is tied to "sit" bc how the addon works is if you look down and crouch you sit down, then if you move while sitting you crawl, then if you jump while crawling you low crawl

I want it to be "if you look down and crouch you crawl, then if you jump while in crawl you low crawl, then sneak to stand up" and thats it

sounds a little complicated
you'd need to look into animation controllers

If you want to make a string from a list consider using the join function

# The functions works on a string, and takes an iterable (list, tuple, set, ...) as input. And returns a string
# iterable must only contain strings
# raises TypeError if a non string is passed (doesn't try to convert)

string_one = ", ".join(["1", "2", "3"])
print(string_one)
# returns "1, 2, 3"
dense root
# torpid bluff

As you get better at programming you will realise there is easier ways to perform what you are doing. Depending on your python version you can use string.printable or secure.choice Which would look something like this,

"""
choice = secrets.choice()
printable = string.printable()
for = length of pass
"""
pass = "".join(choice(printable) for i in range (10))

Hello 👋

#

Does anyone here have experience with the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard

#

I'm trying to update my Store listing but it just gives me an error in the bottom left corner every time

#

:((

plush walrus
#

first I clicked save draft and then submit for review

rancid trail
#

When I click save draft it just spits out that error with no further information

#

very frustrating

#

Idk if it's a problem that I've uploaded a new package to the draft, but I don't think it should be

plush walrus
#

isn't there already a version awaiting review?

rancid trail
#

no, I've got 1 version that's currently published to testers

#

and 1 draft

#

It's so weird

#

and it's driving me crazy xd

plush walrus
#

I can see why haha

#

weird

rancid trail
#

The weird thing is also that I can update everything else no problem, like visibility, the package, payments & distribution

#

It just won't save the store listing

#

Maybe I should just Submit it for review, wait till it's published and then update the listings

#

and submit again

#

Thanks for checking though KristN

minor roost

quiet arrow
#

I hadn't expected that much slower

minor roost
#

Why GO?

quiet arrow
#

Friend of my said I should try it, so that would mean free tech support

#

And looked fun, really enjoying it

#

Apart from the braces ofc

minor roost
#

what

quiet arrow
#

{}

#

Are bad

minor roost
#

no??!

quiet arrow
#

Yes.

minor roost
#

They're very useful

quiet arrow
#

Pythons indentation is much more readable, without needing two extra chars for everything

#

I'm indentation everything now anyway

quiet arrow
#

I think 4 tabs is an error

minor roost
#
if True:
        print("Hi")
quiet arrow
#

1 tab is enough

#

But, either way. I am indentation anyway for readability so the {} feel unneeded

minor roost
#

eh, in my opinion its easier to read

#

because the blocks are literal blocks

quiet arrow
#
if predicate {
    // do stuff
}
if predicate:
    #do stuff
#

Just getting used to ig

minor roost
#

yeah, the braces have a clear start and end

quiet arrow
#

Not if you have 5 of them at the end, and I have to figure out which one is which loop/...

#

Only reason I find it then is my editor putting the _ under the {

minor roost
#

not just for if statements too, if I have to open a file for example, my code becomes something like this;

with open(file1) as fileOne:
  with open(file2,"a") as fileTwo
    for line in fileOne:
      for i in line:
        print(i)
      fileTwo.write(line)
#

And the two last lines are quite confusing, because its just a tab away

quiet arrow
#
with open(file1), open(file2) as file_one, file_two:
    for line in fileOne:
        print(i + "\n" for i in line)
        file_two.write(line)
minor roost
#

yes, I was making a point

quiet arrow
#

But, sure. I don't see how having {} makes it more readable tho

minor roost
#

also I feel like the senior dev would fire you for print(i + "\n" for i in line)

quiet arrow
#

Sounds like their issue

minor roost
#

sounds like code readibility issue

quiet arrow
#

Whoever doesn't understand that should get fired, in line for loops are a big part of python

quiet arrow
#

It just comes down to getting used to, but I am not a big fan

minor roost
#
from __future__ import braces
for (line in fileOne {
  for i in line {
    print(i)
  }
  fileTwo.write(line)
}
quiet arrow
#

Yeah ew

minor roost
#

I just prefer it being nicely readable

#

I like seeing a real indication of where it ends

I started with a C type style language and it worked out pretty well 😛 If you're doing it for fun, no problem, by all means xD But if you're serious about it, keep in mind that it's much easier to go from a C type language to python for example than the other way around and learning the fundamentals of a language on a low level goes a long way

#

Is the list/array sorted?

#

Then probably just use linear search

#

If you don't need to sort it for any later use that'll just make it slower as sorting it includes more instructions than searching, but if it has to be sorted then it's probably fine

quiet arrow
minor roost
#
sorted(list)[0]
pliant nexus
#

It's a pure choice of pros and cons regarding the language C, C++ and C# have their own strengths and weaknesses.

#

You would be chocked how "easy" it is to build graphic engines, not speaking about gaming using frameworks like SDL2, SFML or any other solution out there

#

I personnally made a full working non euclidian graphic engine from scratch in C few years ago to learn about stuff and C was not a problem as long as you write modern C and have at least some sort of knowledge about organizing projects etc

#

Using Makefile helps a lot and at the end of the day it's all about preferences. It would shock you but some people out there are more productive writting C / Rust and alike languages than Python or Javascript for example

torpid crypt
#

I agree with that a graphics engine is pretty simple to make. People make it seem much harder than it is. I am impressed though when you mentioned non-euclidian 😛

#

Pure OpenGL in C++ is pretty fun

minor roost
#

basically i get a list of int

quiet arrow
#

And you have to find the lowest value?

minor roost
#

they can range anywhere from 1 to n where n is always idk how to say it in english its rounded like 2 not 2.3 not root of 2 etc

quiet arrow
#

Integer

minor roost
#

yes that ty

#

and i have to find how many of these integers i have to swap for it to be 1 after another

#

so this

quiet arrow
#

As in, how many swaps for it to be ordered?

minor roost
#

yes

#

the least amount of swaps

#

so for a (1, 4, 2, 5) u only have to swap 5 with 3

quiet arrow
#

With 2?

#

Wait no I don’t get it

#

You want the list of length n to only contain integers from 1 to n?

#

So n = 4, can only contain 1,2,3,4

minor roost
#

ye

#

well thanks for help with claryfing the question xD

#

got it wrong but yea u r right

quiet arrow
#

Ah haha

#

And you have to program something?

minor roost
#

ye

#

made this```py
ciag = [10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5]
x = 1
to_be_changed= 0
while x <= len(ciag):
if x not in ciag:
to_be_changed+= 1
x += 1

print(to_be_changed)

#

it works but idk if it catches all edge cases

quiet arrow
#

The
if x not in checks the list the entire time. If you’re allowed the use the len() operator; just loop over the list once and add 1 to to_be_changed if the value is greater then the length

minor roost
#

so like this? ```py
dozmiany = 0
for element in ciag:
if element > len(ciag):
dozmiany +=1
print(dozmiany)

#

yup makes more sense xD

#

thanks

quiet arrow
#

Might even be faster to store the len() in a variable if n gets really big but idk

minor roost
#

tho actually not cuz sometimes we have to swap it even tho its smaller than len(ciag)

#

for example (2,2,2,2,2)

quiet arrow
#

They’re only allowed to be there once?

#

Aah

minor roost
#

we have to swap four "2" with 1, 2, 4, 5

minor roost
#

forgot to say that my bad

quiet arrow
#

Do you know how sets work?

minor roost
#

ooh just realised, gratz on QA

minor roost
quiet arrow
#

You could make a set and append each value lower than len into it. But since it can’t contain dupes. The difference between the len of the set and of your list will be the amount of swaps

quiet arrow
minor roost
#

true

#

allright thanks

quiet arrow
#

Using sets is only slight faster :p

#

But for bigger n 🥶

quiet arrow
#

WEEEEE @minor roost

#

Blue is your first implementation

pliant nexus
quiet arrow
#

Which geometry was it then :D

pliant nexus
#

There are more than objects that is affected by non euclidian geometry: space is a good example

#

You can still have euclidian object within slice of non euclidian space though

quiet arrow
#

An object isn’t euclidian

#

The space is

pliant nexus
#

Yeah sorry for the shortcut

quiet arrow
#

My understanding of it is purely mathematical, I assume the words would be used slightly different

pliant nexus
#

I'm not that good in maths but as what I learned non eucludian geometry is everything but lets say you have an infinite space, you go toward any direction from the origin, you can't go back to the origin

#

In a non euclidian space this is possible

#

The reason why you can also have infinite space within finite volume
