Okay, i can see the quality of tips is lacking, so here are some more specifics for you to easily focus on.

1. Try to improve your overall mobility.
   Sometimes in capture the flag, being able to out maneuver the enemy is the most important, especially when it comes to getting in and out of their territory.

2. Study the maps that you play on and what strategies work best for each. And make sure to use the entirety of the map to your advantage.
   For example, the map where it is honestly best to rush in is gonna be the green hill map, it's straightforward and it's layout rewards those who are quick and mobile.

Other maps might be better suited for trying to work together with your team to make strong pushes into enemy territory.

3. Practice your pvp, cause at the end of the day, you do need to be able to go toe to toe with your opponents if all else fails. I recommend going into the duel arenas for 1v1 or free for all for practice.

4: don't be afraid to branch out with your ideas.
In some games both teams might be too evenly matched, and just "play better" isn't enough advice to go on, so instead, play smarter.
Think of interesting ways to get the upper hand while using what you have around you.

My final tip would be don't be afraid to die, sometimes a good distraction death is just what your team needs to grab a good win opportunity.
Prioritize the teams win over just your own personal win.

Those are my tips and tricks, hope you find them of use good sir!

Sorry for extremely late ping and poor formatting but here are my tips: 1. Dont put a defence around the flag because you will find it easier to PVP people trying to get the flag. Alternatively, if you are rushing, place a wall that blocks them from directly coming to kill you from their spawnpoint. 2. Sneak wherever practically possible to get away with stuff. Sneaking at the wall during build period and inside their defence is a great way to camoflage yourself when attacking/defending because the opponent does not know where you are and you can surprise them. 3. Always be alert of your surroundings and monitor if they are pushing /camping (farming). This will affect your strategy, as you might either need to defend, or push hard to prevent 3 full irons coming to tank all your damage and wreck you. You also need to monitor if someone has gotten the flag in order to kill them. If you know that you are getting rekt because you are being 3v1ed and someone on the other team is oblivious getting iron, focus on knocking them off or killing them while you still can.

4. Use your blocks to your advantage. Block someone off. Trap someone. Spam them so that your enemies cant reach you. There is a reason that CTF is in blockwars. Not using blocks is like not putting ham in a hamburger.
