You see, on Java it isn’t actually that easy to make custom models and stuff. It’s easiest to work with OptiFine, which allows for CIT. You can basically rename a certain item to a certain name and if you’d coded the stuff right it will show up as that model and texture

why do people use these clients

I’ve never used texture packs

CubeCraft has its own Texturepack that gets loaded uppon joining the server due to their custom game selection menus, so your basically forced to use it 😅 i get why people might not want to use it, but its pretty neat imo.

But as for clients, i also dont use them. I just dont find them interesting, well thers are Badlion and Laby, both of which feature cosmetics that you need to pay for. which only other people with the same client are able to see. some people just do it to have capes. some do it for the addition of gameplay features i guess. I just never needed any as they never upped my gaming experience. but im a vanilla fanboy anyway. we handle everything like 3D models ecetera with Resourcepacks and plugins :p

Lite has a ton less, halving the size of it to make it run smoother on low end devices
