I think in 1.19.something there was a change to how armor and protection enchanment that makes it protect less so it works the same as java. This is probably why armor feels weaker. Diamond armor is more common now so that will help a bit. Also i dont know why tridents are so broken.

I have noticed more ranged weapon use and third partying seems way more effective then before. I am ok with a faster paced skywars game but I would suggest the chests have a few less arrows and maybe having weaker swords more common and strong swords less common. The trident should deal 8 damage but it doesnt feel like that, it might just be a bug. I dont know how to fix the third partying problem.

Sorry that happened to you bro, that’s stuff’s always annoying. Cheaters are reported all the time, but the servers anti-cheat system is so advanced that it flat out doesn’t work in this timeline. That’s how intellectually superior the Cubecrafts dev team is.

I think the damage is okay after playing a lot of games.
Crossbows are a bit op if you have multiple in your hotbar loaded at the same time. You can get someone to half health before they even touch you.
The old eggs/snowballs were more effective at knocking people off that like to run. The crossbow can only do so much. It also feels like eggs/snowballs are less common to find in chest.
The trident should be less common to find and I don’t think it’s fair that you can spawn with it whiles other have the chance of spawning with a stone sword.

Cubecraft skywars update is so bad. I like all the new items but there is one thing that makes the game unplayable. In op mode when you get lit on fire the damage that you take makes you take weird knowback so when you are running the fire damage kb moves you backwards and down causing it to be impossible to outrun somebody with a fire sword. Ive died like 8 times because of it. And it isnt even that Im bad. Im a really good player too.

If anyone is curious why the trident is so powerful its because its dealing an extra half a heart for every hit you get so even if you trade hits with a decent player the one with the trident has an advantage over you. It's supposed to be dealing 8 damage but it deals 9. This means in full iron/chain you will be killed in 5 normal hits and 3 but more likely 2 critical hits. In full diamond/netherite you will be killed in 10 normal hits and 5 critical hits.
Even with absorption and resistance you'll still be killed pretty quickly unless you're playing overpowered.

I don’t understand that either. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t, I’m not sure if item damage or specific enchantments can’t be merged. All I know is that weekly items are not meant to be repaired or strengthened using anvils

Idk why the Devs changed the way loot spawns in general. It just makes the game more luck based. Some games I’ll spawn with all chain protection with a stone sword and others I’ll spawn with 2 pieces of Diamond gear and a trident.

Before this update you were pretty lucky to spawn with one piece of Diamond gear and a decent weapon like sharp 1 iron.
Also they don’t need to remove the trident. They just need to globally fix the way damage, knockback, and saturation works.

A trident is effectively a netherite sword on your starting island, they should make them Only throwable

I'm pretty sure you can edit the NBT data of ANY item to make them deal more or less on servers, unless that's only a Java thing
If it can work on bedrock, nerf the damage to make it similar to a diamond sword. Having a netherite sword equivalent is way too broken imo
Straightens everything out and honestly, maybe just making them throwable is a good idea too.
