Sadly it happens more often than you think. Almost any time a rush is unsuccessful, every vip ranked player we've run into immediately makes there way to the center to camp recourses.
Not saying all do, but at this point, I'm having a hard time believing it isn't the majority. To be honest, i don't see anything wrong with it, if that's how they prefer to play, all the power to them. Being hypocritical and trying to insult other players bout it during the exact same game is where i see the problem.

All play styles are fine as long you aren't cheating, or being hypocritical.
Cause if you're gonna play a certain way, at least own it with pride.

So i just played this one game that took well over a hr
It was overpowered and there were 3 teams left, all with eggs. EVERY OTHER team had diamond armour, and my team had iron and leather. This game was so pathetic bc no matter how op you were, you just couldn't kill the diamond ppl. And getting there eggs forget about it. There was literal mountains of obisidan on every egg and it was impossible to kill the other teams, not to mention their eggs.
Also it disconnected so i don't know the exact time ;-;

Tips for getting good at the game other than just “get good at this specific thing” worded differently?

You need to start learning rushing. Buy around 20 or 24 blocks at the start of the game and start breaking bases eggs and killing em

do this for the first 2 or 3 bases

Then, you gotta start getting stuff

So things like food, golden apple, stone / iron swords help

I recommend using the Pickaxe kit in eggwars

so its easier to rush

Actually best strategy in lucky islands is to not play like ur trying to win and just to have fun lmao

You win more surprisingly

The strat for eggwars is to have the blocks kit, once you drop you'll get 15 iron immediately from your island gen which is enough for leather armor and a wood sword

Then buy 20 blocks and rush your side rush

If ur In the middle of 2 then try to gague which person is more sentient and kill them first so you don't get counter rushed

And by the time you're done with both rushes if you collect the gold from both island gens you'll have 10 gold which is enough for the eff 1 diamond pick

Then just grab some iron get the stone sword and stock up on blocks then just roll people

Try to get players on their island low before you break their egg so you can kill them quickly afterwards as well

and if anyone rushes middle try to kill them in the void or other similar things using wtapping or wall reducing

You don't get people's things anyways so minimizing damage is more important
