Fr pisses me off this game and server used to get 5k players hourly, now suffers greatly at night

Everyone has shifted to bedrock and there's no incentive to get people to play on Java and it sucks

But arguably the game is more fun with Java than Bedrock, and in fact Minecraft in general is

I'm not upset that cubecraft, or anything at all is """dying""", I enjoy a lot of smaller communities and in fact prefer them. What I don't like is to see this egg wars formula thrown into the mainstream and with the fun optimized out of it

What it used to be was egg wars, where a single action from another player constituted how the game would go, whether it be from a buy or who they attacked. It wasn't about health bars, how fast you clicked, or anything regarding skill, but the actions you took and the resources you managed

I couldn't care less if it were 1.8 or 1.9 PvP, if it had 20 players or 1000, what I care about is having that feeling back, where no two games were the same, now every game you get someone who builds at you at 10 blocks a second within 20 seconds of the game starting because with this essentially being an esport, people value a virtual number more than they do fun

And that's great if you find speed bridging and more traditional PvP fun, awesome even, I used to be decent back in 1.8. But I can't really deny that MC as a whole has been damaged with it being optimized for speed, and what made this gamemode unique is pretty much gone for good

If you want to play pvp, go play pvp, leave eggwars for people that want to play eggwars, you know, EGG, WARS, war over defending the egg, the whole point of the game that people like you throw out just to run at others to die a second later, or win the game and ruin it for 20 others, for what reason? Virtual meaningless numbers? This happens too often for it to make the game fun anymore, it used to be a once a day occurrence, and it's like, oh cool. Good for him! Glad he won, was kinda fun, now it's every single game to the point where there's no point in playing. New players can't even play, I've seen so many new people join the game and immediately die to rushers and never pick it up again. That's what is killing the game, rushers and people who ruin the fun for others to get fake levels then brag about them like anyone cares. I miss when Eggwars was about strategy and having fun with everyone in the entire match, cracking jokes in chat and having fun. Now it's all about who can build faster, who can target others the most, who can suck the fun out of what was a unique and original game. Now it's just turned into Fortnite Hunger Games PVP who can drag click better. It's obnoxious, it's not fun, it's killing the server, learn to have fun.

But again, no one cares, so I don't know why I wasted my time writing all of that. Hope you enjoy drag clicking and ruining new experiences for a new generation of people who will keep the server afloat. Have a good day Sir Duck Photo
