Im actually very good on the hive, it’s the first server I strictly played on and I was quite use to how it’s pvp works, of course that doesn’t mean I liked it. so that’s not the case

Cubecraft knockback is a lot like java edition. Hive knockback is more reserved such that u need to combo the enemy many times to actually exert proper knockback

They're ranked by their balance of gameplay and how many gameplay styles they support. I dont care if you lb pc players can get "quick ez gg games" on certain maps. If that's the only playstyle that map supports then it's not a good map.

Seems like all the gens are much faster (dia should be significantly slower if you ask me). But the emerald is still beyond slow... before anyone has upgraded an emerald gen in solo, the game is almost finished already.
The update has some nice QoL changes (and some of the issues I had with the maps, and emerald placement have been changed for the better) and the game is a bit more fast paced, but overall it seems like a miss once again with the focus on emeralds.

Even if say Magic isn't as good as a rushing map as say something like the island map, it's design still allows for more play styles to be used effectively beyond just the one style.
The maps ranked lowest were based off of designs in gameplay, along with with practicality.
Food mao for instance is known for its massive lag issues, mostly due to the speed of the generators at center
Therefore it's design brings it lower

And let me get one thing straight, I know the Food map is beloved by many PC players, but it's honestly a bad map for not being well optimized. Just to let you know, alot of Mobile players suffer from Lag when playing on the food map, making it easier for the sweats to rush in and beat cheeks! The fact that it gives the upper hand to PC's is Poopoo.

The cost of items is an easy change to put in. If it's genuinely affecting gameplay for people, we can bump up the cost to something more balanced. Balancing is borderline impossible to do on large scales for things like this, so we can change it once we get feedback. 😄

It's not really ruined. Solo will remain unchanged, besides some nice QoL changes/aditions. It's faster paced now, diamonds is a bit too fast.. but I'm hopefully they'll dial that back a bit. Emeralds won't be used in the overwhelming majority of solo games I'll play. Most last between 5/10 minutes, which just isn't enough to get anywhere with the emeralds.

they almost completely reverted the last emerald update (eggwars beta) because people loathed it. So just weird to focus on it once again.
It encourages camping, because you can't do anything but camp for a good amount of time before you can do anything with emeralds.
