Alright, so I think I just had one of the most interesting matches of all time in my opinion. So I was playing mega mode op items fallen map and my team was red.
The start was less interesting but orange tried to go for the top area that had 4 diamond generators that was also less crowded but I saw what they tried to do so I went for the top diamond generator area and I fought one of the orange people and sorta stopped them from "claiming" the top area.
One my teammates went for orange's egg and they succesfully destroyed it.
But blue went for our egg and they destroyed it. in the end there were only 2 of us left, me and someone else.
I went to grind for diamonds and orange got fully eliminated in the meantime i grinded.
I went to orange since it was the least close to blue and settled there with my teammate and we grinded a hell lot.
We somehow also sucessfully killed alot of players from blue and some from green.

[green is kinda less focused on because they didnt do much to us.]

So I and my teammate got full diamond and I tried to pearl to blue multiple times but somehow failed the throw all those times and i also got alot of gapples and 8 god apples and the best possible pickaxe possible in op items. So my teammate successfully bridged to blue.

[at that time 6 of their 10 players had left so they didnt stand as much of a challenge as they couldve]

And I destroyed their egg and me and my teammate killed all of blue fairly easily.

[half the people of blue didnt have any armor probably because they were too afraid to go to the middle after
we kinda dominated the middle.]

And then we stayed in blue's base for a little bit before going for green's egg.

[at this point almost all of green left and there were only 2 players left on their team too.]

We went to green and succesfully destroyed their egg and then killed the 2 green people and we won!

I just got my second Duos win not too long. My teammate appeared really good. At the end, one of our opponents on the last remaining team disconnected for whatever reason, which was the cue - I went in, destroyed their egg, and killed that last player. They didn't even put up any resistance.

Last night, I had the weirdest and longest game of Duos I've ever had. I lost my egg after about 10 minutes or so, and from there I just camped out at my base, and spent over 450 diamonds in that one game. The most money I have ever spent in a single game of EggWars, of any type. It was Normal mode, and I was literally LOADED.

I had a Punch bow, 6 god apples, 4 Ender Pearls, a diamond sword, an Efficiency III diamond pickaxe, and full iron armor. Not to mention 240 arrows. And I was getting ready to attack the Red base with all of this, but suddenly... one of them fell to their death, and then mere moments later, the other suffocated themselves. It was the weirdest win I've ever gotten. And also my third Duos win.

The entire game lasted almost 48 minutes.

because they make you join the exact same match when you try to join a different map

Who else here thinks they should massively reduce the amount of knockback you take in egg wars (and SkyWars for that matter)

Or at the very least replace the diamond armor with netherite armor because the only practical differences are increased effective durability and reduced knockback
