Yeah making og and normal should be a votable thing, some people have suggested it and it's actually a really good idea that works easy and everyone can be happy, the problem is that people don't know what update they really want, they'll ask for something and once it gets released they are like, oh this sucks.

only people happy with the "OG" update are speedrunners, cause now they can actually beat people up since theyre in leather armor instead of iron, iron armor was actually a great combat to speedrunning players and gave people a chance against them, since it kept them alive for longer, teammates could actually jump in and help you, plus netherite armor was also a great combat because knockback res made it harder for a random person who is a god at the game to knock you off the map. only thing i think is stupid abt the previous update was the removal of sharp 8 swords and eff 12 pickaxes purchasable by emeralds (and of course emerald gens, sure you now technically have one with the Emerald Yolk, but its slow as christmas)

sharp 8 sword would just benefit the good players. you wouldn't expect a non to get it. speedrunners usually leaves when there is someone with a colored name or just a known person. the people that speedrunners play against would not even get 5 emeralds in the first place. having the og emerald shop would be cool but i just dont think it is balanced

it was a very balanced sword, i played with it back in the day, nons did in fact get the sharp 8 because in mega mode and some teams of 4 modes, there were emerald gens in the base and the sharp 8 was also not purchased from a shop in mid, it was purchased from your base, it was a fairly accessible sword, it also was more expensive (costed 24 emeralds, not 5 because emeralds were much easier to get) and again, it wasnt the OG update that made the emerald shop good, it was season 2, it got rid of sharpness 8 swords and all that and replaced it with what we have now (minus mite master) gonna go on a side quote here but we should be advocating for both updates season 2 and this one to meet in the middle, cause i agree, the armor situation again was dumb, diamond armor was to easy to get, but thats really the only criticism with that update, and its the only point you brought up on why season 2 is bad, you didnt say anything else that made it bad besides armor, so it should be very easy to find common ground

Mineplex used to host a minigame called Super Smash Mobs, inspired by the Super Smash Bros game people fought each other as different mobs with different stats and abilities, the minigame was updated a couple of times before being neglected despite complaints about skill floors and ceilings and gameplay balance. Over time as regular players refined their skills they necessitated their opponents to recover more frequently thus stretching out the match, the blaze was notoriously frustrating to kill despite their low regeneration because they were one of the fastest most maneuverable characters in the game. Blazes had always been a hot debate with many claiming it was too overpowered, the minigame became competitive and incredibly toxic with players often cross-teaming and cheating against blaze users, most of them would be oppressed off the game but I was among the few blaze mains that stayed and adapted to their toxicity, for all of their toxicity and slander and unfairness against me I savored every moment I spent frustrating them and overcoming them despite their unfair advantages.

The playerbase slowly died out as the skill entry level was so high that newcomers were discouraged from playing, the game was no longer fun for casual players and became a toxic sport for the OG players, an unofficial studio would try to iterate on the minigame but the playerbase surrounding it died out completely even before the total shutdown of the server.

Eggwars has been put in a similar situation since the OG update where tryhards are stopping new players from replenishing the minigame, even having the unfair advantage of undermining existing playstyles so that "newgens" stop playing.

As long as Cubecraft continues to favor this new form of toxicity I will have to adapt in a way which will hurt my opponents back which happens to be killing the minigame or the server.

No, they were and still are a vocal minority which acquired the sympathy of developers because individual players kept surviving and winning, the game was best when punch bows were punch 2 and we could snipe each other but our next best option was to fly away with tnt or elytras with leap feathers, now there's arbitrary limitations like stack limits and item cooldowns which takes the fun away from their potential. We could've been spamming deployable walls and towers instead of running away but Cubecraft sympathizes with losers who play to win rather than have fun.

The game's not fun anymore, it's not a skill issue.

Hi, What you're seeing is actually Arabic written using English letters and numbers.. This might sound complicated lol, but I'll try to explain it as best as i can. Soo this type of arabic in fact called "Arabizi" or "Franco Arabic" Since some Arabic letters don't exist in English, people use numbers to represent similar sounds. For example, "3" is used for the Arabic letter "ع" and 7 for "ح" and "5" for "خ".. So when someone types something like e5e، 3rb etc.. they’re basically writing an Arabic word phonetically using English characters and numbers, Also It's really common in chats for lots of games, especially among people who actually speak Arabic but are using English keyboards to type in chat.

Newgens have tolerated oldgen playstyles, why shouldn't OG players tolerate the playstyles of new and more modern players, when the priority of developers is to improve gameplay it should take the whole playerbase into consideration and when it becomes biased towards one spectrum the minigame descends a slippery slope to losing its playerbase. It's happened to minigames on Mineplex and it happens to survival servers, I've witnessed these first hand.

The game used to be fun but now only for the competitive spectrum which is often toxic or soulless, they'll consume the playerbase and turn away new players until there's no one left to entertain their pride.

Abnormally consistent clicking patterns that any human wouln't follow.

Cubecraft will detect if somone runs an autoclicker at 15 cps, because traditional autoclickers click once every 1/15th of a second. Perfectly. Every time.

No human person can click that consistently. Typically, (and especially during butterfly/jitter/drag) people will speed up/slow down over the course of them clicking. That's normal. Cubecraft searches for that pattern.
