now games are done before anyone can clear into chain

usually just one dude speedbridges, places 400 blocks in the span of five seconds and mines away your one layer of obsidian, then knocks your clueless random teammates who haven't even realized that the dude ran in ten seconds ago

then what do you do? just wait for the 4-man to stomp you out of existence because you're down to solo or a duo team at that point

it used to be fun, you got to actually feel a match out, build your base and team up- now its just a two minute round where you just boredly wait for the speedbridger (that's probably autobridging, but you dont wanna throw accusations and sound salty) to break your egg, and place a whole fortnite structure upon being hit once and then juggling you from eight blocks away straight into the void

Well it's not really an update, they're just going back to the OG game which obviously is gonna be a bit worse than what we've got now because they're constantly trying to improve the game play. Me personally, I've been playing on cubecraft for 10+ years now and so I do like this OG "update" because it's nostalgic. The majority of people, mostly older players did want to go back to OG even if it's just for a little bit. So i'm sure it'll all change back soon :)

They fixed eggwars by making the punch bow-spam playstyle obsolete, removing elytras, capping items, and delaying items with cooldowns, it really sounds like my opponents which consist of egg-rushers and competitive teams were a vocal minority which Cubecraft heard and my suggestions to improve gameplay with playstyles were ignored.

I've talked with my opponents about their playstyles in-game and the competitive teams tell me they play to win rather than playing to have fun, they grind wins and hoped that any playstyles which enabled individuals to challenge them would be patched.

It's their mindset that kept me playing to troll them but now they have their way, I can deny them their pleasure by not playing because Cubecraft removed my pleasure.

In the meantime I'm banned from every other minigame server by moderation abuse so I'm chilling in SMP's.

I believe this is a very similar kind of behavior that lead to the downfall of another previous minigame I played daily, Super Smash Mobs hosted by Mineplex; My opponents were extremely toxic borderline racist players that would cheat and cross-team against me in FFA's all because I played the blaze kit, it got so bad that moderators would silence me for defending myself and deal disproportionate punishments for minor offenses, I became a silent menace to these players and they couldn't do anything to remove me from the game unless they could destroy my playstyle.

As the minigame became more competitive and remained as toxic as it was newcomers would be discouraged from playing, the playerbase surrounding the minigame shrank until even the competitive players had no one to play with, another iteration of the minigame was then hosted by another group called Smash Reborn, their iteration catered to the hyper-competitive players and still to this day hasn't suprassed 10 active players.

• Moderation abuse is not the only threat to our vessels, scammers and social engineers are far more acute threats with Microsoft support unable to recover accounts and only able to permanently disable them under certain conditions which thieves often abuse. For this reason we should all be vigilant and speculative about anything which regards our vessels and money from ignoring links and advertisements to rightfully questioning and avoiding account linking.

Moderation Practices:

• All players with the power to enforce on behalf of overseers of the world are liable for any damages to gameplay and the worth of our vessels when the act is wrong.

• An act of enforcement becomes moderation abuse when:
• The punishment is a permanent ban for gameplay offenses instead of personal offenses which extend beyond gameplay.
• The punishment against gameplay offenses is temporal but disproportionate to its severity.
• The punishment is based on the judgement of one or more opponents frustration.
• The punishment is enforced by unwritten rules which were never previously agreed upon.

Definitions
