We need weakness arrows and enchants back. Swords need to be priced up early game and cheaper lategame, since thats what people wanted faster emerald spawns for. They need to balance armor and swords so damage output and armor points are about equal. Netherite is overkill and should be exclusively lategame. Overall, eggwars as is isn't too bad, it's just an extreme lack of balancing that makes it bad. I see the idea but the execution wasn't it.
Also blastballs need self kb buff for better midgame rush, since epearls are mostly lategame.

Old eggwars was amazing as is, The only thing I had a slight complaint about was how cheap notch apples were and how ridiculously expensive weakness arrows were.
Because if you got into a fight with a guy who'd been turtleing all game he'd be popping notches like candy but even then if you had two or more players on him you'd eventually break his armor so it was only a minor inconvenience
In a way the game already balanced itself out though because anyway a player could play the game had a counter for with enough forethought
Got a team that's been turtleing all game? Boom enderpearls and efficiency picks all available at the comfort of your own base.
Got a guy speed bridging at mach Jesus? Boom punch bow for 25 diamonds.
The only thing that didn't balance our was playing against people who were really good at floating and almost felt like they had reach but even then that's a bedrock issue and not something the server is at fault for

I disagree. Here’s why: in the old overpowered mode, I would get 29 iron and five gold that would give you a diamond pick, leather armor around a stack of blocks and a wood sword. Now it takes something around 40 iron ingots for the same material

I do agree with you defending your egg is pretty pointless especially since how fast pace egg wars is but I think that’s why it was such a good game. If you screwed up your rush and died it doesn’t take you that long to get your materials back into try again however, due to the recent changes, if you die to a full nether right player, it is much more difficult to come back from that and defeat him

You receive emeralds for breaking eggs, eliminations and upgrading a generator to the max level (will tell you as a boss bar). And there will also spawn emeralds on the middle every once in a bit

emeralds are basically useless. blocks are way more expensive. food is way more expensive. there is less options for pickaxes to mine fast. even leather armor got more expensive. its like inflation went up
and who decided to make golden apples a weird number like 7 gold instead of a nice and even 5
and now obsidian is gonna be hard to get considering its diamonds
