So we sent Andrew in to fight all four of them while we three fought the other teams
Purple was eliminated
Blue was whittled down
All while Andrew SINGLE HANDEDLY held off four full iron vip's so we could prepare to get their egg
After 20 minutes of them base camping while failing to kill one Monkey, the rest of us geared up
Andrew, after running out of food, finally fell and died, returning to the base where he was gifted an Elytra
While Pigma rushed their front, Andrew flew in and ate, gobbled, dare I say, Munched their egg whole
Green, now all full diamond, were forced to fight off Andrew, who had nothing but a pickaxe and iron
He made a swift retreat back to base, where we were waiting for him with fresh armor that we used to clap all three remaining members of their squad.
We were doing so well in fact, that blue tried to help them, then tried to team with us, only to immediately be shot off on the spot, resulting in them /hubing

I agree with you guys that they should return magic map, but you complain too much about gingerbread, they sometimes have to turn java maps to another type of game on bedrock when they’re in a rush, if you don’t like the map and you find a lot of sweats there, you can always play other maps ^^

My problem with gingerbread is that when it was released, it was rushed out because of time constraints and stuff. Cool, understandable. But they've had 2 years of preparation to replace, or even just rework it but it still exists. It doesnt make sense to me and the longer it stays around the more I think less of it

I can I understand why the do things like recycling, I just don't agree with it in practice. Of course I understand needing to make a time crunch and making use of what you have, but they've had two years at this point to make something better, so the excuse of being in a rush doesn't hold water.
What it sounds like is poor time management that they still haven't gotten into gear.

Well then my issue there is cherry picking which maps are kept based on popularity.
Magic is still gone despite it being one of the top rated and had no reason for removal. Yet this still gets to come back every year simply because a certain percentage of players enjoy grinding.
I can also say that i know for a fact that's likely not why it's coming back

I think that there's a better way to make a map sweats can enjoy without being lazy. CubeCraft has been in a dark place with map design for awhile now. Just look at Mystery; a map that serves no purpose other than to look cool without actually taking gameplay into consideration. Now that map is full of camping spots for no reason at all. It's the exact opposite of gingerbread.

So yeah, It's a recycled map from another game mode that was used because they had no time to design a new map for that year, and now they just don't care enough to try and just continue to paste it out.

It wasn't designed to be good for rushing, them being lazy with how they broke the map down from a lucky islands just so happened to make for good rushing.
Let's hope they do better next year.

Listen, as someone who has played both ways for both maps (Birthday and Magic, but I'm mostly talking about magic)
Rushing was good if you knew what you were doing, there were some challenges with some players hiding, it's not hard
Camping was also good, but not easy. You were very exposed from all angles, the rings and the top of the tower were awful places to try and stay, so you're Always better off just using the actual base istelf
Both were effective
Neither was easy
But dang was it always fun
And that's what's important, isn't it? Fun? That's why we're hear, right?

It's possible the winter update included some changes to the maps coding that are now causing problems for you and your friends
So with luck, once the winter update is gone, it should return to normal

Like good players versus good players. (sometimes an elo system) There is also cvc. (clan versus clan) I might be missing some stuff cause ive scrimmed like 3 times in my life.

Typically like 4v4 or 10v10. Clans sometimes scrimmage each other and sometimes they are less organized. Tournaments also exist between these clans where scrimmages / games are held. There are unique rules with scrims too. For example, only one bow per team. No block breakers / TNT. It’s all varying from server to server and where you play. There are discord severs that host scrims regularly.
