For the cacti farm? At least for me the wheat grew quickly enough to be able to harvest continually with 2 plots. The cacti is the next big money maker until pigs, then you make a dropper with those bad boiz and thats when the money really starts rolling in until you eventually get creepers. Then you get yourself a creeper dropper.

Oh also sugar cane is pretty good once unlocked.
