1. spawners spawn mobs on any block (not air blocks) around a 7 by 3 by 7 area
2. spawners spawns 1-3 mobs dependant on complete chance, more spawn chances more mobs normally
3. spawners can spawn a maximum of 7 mobs each before they stop spawning, if they're at 6 and spawn 3, you need to kill to get back down to 6
4. entity cramming doesn't exist yet in 1.12.2 (the version cubecraft runs on) so it's technically disabled

2. looting, at looting 20, only gives 5x drops

Looting basically gives a 25% (per level) to drop an additional item

Be prepared for the desert island, you need to make 500 arrows, which doesn't seem that hard until you find out you need to buy every single gravel to craft them each gravel is 4000 and you need hundreds of thousands of coins to get 500 arrows. At the early islands, it's not very easy to get lots of money, though I suggest farming lots of jungle trees before getting to the desert and save money.

Trees give a lot of money. My friend built a colossal birch farm on a huge platform of land when we were at the birch island. It gave us 700k per harvest. Acacia trees are very inefficient cause they go everywhere when they grow
