until you've finished all the quests and you have nothing left so you feel empty as there's nothing to work towards. the only goals set from then on would be your own goals. as you feel empty, you get bored and become a shell of the person you were and you have no meaning in life as you get to this point, you quit skyblock, and start another game repeating the cycle.

If you use the quick crafting it’ll not work as you mentioned. However you can still move each item in its crafting spot to create the item manually. For a shovel for example move the two sticks and cobble in the grid to craft it
