I've been told that fortune doesn't work on glow stone but I used fortune when I did the quest. And it seemed to me to increase the amount of glow stone dust I got from each tree.

Blazes are not as hard as they seem. There are things that one can do to make it easier than just fighting them out in the open

It's just bugged on axes, people are just confusing it with not working

(Also the tough part about blazes are more the kill lv50+ blazes, your highest spawner you get is like 33 so you need to spend close to 8 stacks of rods to upgrade them which in turn can only be obtained by player kill)

I use glow stone for lighting. I've finished all the glow stone quest and I may potentially need to get more glow stone in the future. I still have some glow stone available but I am still using it. And as I build more in the future I am going to need more. But that is just me. I would suggest you at least save some of it.

Regarding progression. At times I am happy just chilling where I am at and taking my time. But then when I decide to progress and I unlock the next island I wish I had done it sooner because of all the rewards that comes with it. The increases in exp and coin intake. But then later at some point I decide to chill for a while again. I dont know if anyone else does something similar

I'm not sure... What I came up with to farm blazes was basically just a 7x7 dropper (if you count the walls) with a + in the middle making it 4 different droppers. A bit more up I placed open fencegates for them to spawn on, they'll automatically drop down, meaning I was also able to place a bit of water to damage them before they were down (this was because I had a few and a steady sumply of blazes, but if you want speed its best to do all damage yourself)

The circle will be more flat-ish there so you can just add one to make it even

The islands are going to be somewhere within that 80x80 space but it's not always dead center. The island locations vary from island to island. You will have to figure out where you want the edges of your giant circle to be. Then once you know where you want the edges to be you can count the space between the edges to figure out how big to make your circle.

You many need to adjust where the edges of the circle are going to fall on each island to still make it a circle

Figuring out stuff like this is fun for me when I come up with some project. Hopefully I am not giving you too much info. I personally love figuring out details like this. And would prefer to figure it out on my own.
