Make sure that you are in profile 2/3/4 and then go back to the profile screen and select the profile you are on, it should say "add player" then you just type in their username. Everybody in a co-op needs a free co-op slot to join so if your friend has no slots free and wants to create one then they must do the same steps you did but instead of pressing "add player" (only owner can see that option) they must press leave profile

Then they scroll down to bottom and it'll have invites and they just press your one
