Once you get to those you'll be able to use boosters to shave literal hours off of the growth time.

I caught mine in the Plains biome, the quest that asks you to catch them was done in about 25 mins, but I was pulled away for ten minutes or so, so it should be a bit faster than that.

Free, basically, once you get access to the Nether you can use the quartz to make a daylight sensor, or as its called here, an Optimiser, you can use items to double the generation speed of either crops, trees or generators, once you unlock dark oak you'll want to make sure you've got a decent stock of Acacia saplings for the level 6 boost which is x2 speed for 1 hour and you can stack it 5 times

Once you have a cocoa bean (originally from the jungle trees in the Jungle and Desert biome) then you can plant them in Jungle logs, they take 45-50 minutes depending on if you have the skyblock rank or not and will usually drop 3 per pod, so one cocoa bean will become 3.
