There is no quest to unlock the nether, you need to go to the skyblock lobby and give the nether portal gate keeper items in order to unlock the nether. I believe it’s 24 gold blocks, 200 bones, 200 rotten flesh, and 200 spider eyes

The earliest the nether portal can be unlocked is the Savannah island so your missing out 👀

my current exp farm set-up (i need 3 more items to level 6 for mythical majesty) is a pigman farm with all 4 spawners, lapis gens and nether quartz gens and an optimiser
i keep the gens boosted all the time with either lapis or quartz
anyway, to cut to the chase
what's the best way to farm exp with what i have currently?
