the first schematic I made used 4 villagers, the second version uses 1 as that's only needed

also you only need the little box that the wither is stuck in to trap it. The big cobblestone box around it is just to prevent skulls from destroying stuff on the island. I made the box big so you would have a lot of space to move around in.

the problem is not really placing them, its opening them. on java because of the hitboxes you cant do the open and fall onto the next one and open and fall on the next one and so on

If u just want a small version for some spidereyes, lime less than a stack of spawners you can always just do a water push design and take the bombers tnt aligner
