Instead of building 16 individual spawnerpillars, build 4 pillars with 2x2 measurement, so your total farm size would be 16x16 instead of the conventional 24x24

but armour (and the protection 1 enchant they all have) can screw up the calc a bit at later levels

when its leather/chain/gold (so basically what most people have) it doesnt matter much

but at iron/diamond it adds up

Hello? Did the y coordinate for the spawner change? I thought it didn't matter, so I placed my wither skeleton near the sky limit dropping to the normal island ground, hoping to one day upgrade it to level 150 or something, and still be able to 1-hit kill the regular one. However, the skeleton it is not spawning when I am on the ground. Only if I climb the ladder up and stay near it does it spawn.

This might sound counterintuitive but, just because its the fastest, doesnt mean its the best. Nor does it mean you can just skip your way through, or do you try to learn a skill irl or smth without learning its prerequisites

Also the creeperfarm is just the fastest automatic one on paper, pigs are overall way easier to achieve and do their job so well you wont need the creeperfarm. I did mention in my guide to not start with creepers unless you got the full pigfarm with 864 spawners down and still want more money and are willing to invest a few hundred more hours into selling stuff

Yes, the end portal was added around the same time the nether was finished, with a sign on it that said "coming soon". this was late 2020 early 2021. at some point between then and now it was removed. I assume that was when they redesigned the lobby

Lou, you need to understand that people dont want to play the same way you play, different people having differing ideas of fun, some people like the extra grind for stuff and find that as a valuable use of their time since they are having fun doing it, while some prefer to get through as fast as possible. thats not true btw. spawner activation radius is the same. you can just stack pigs up to buildheight if you want as passive mobs dont despawn if further away than 127 blocks from the nearest player, however doing so will extend the fall of the higher up pigs to more than 3 seconds (thats what roughly 1 spawncycle is), not using them to their full potential (apart from the fact that you then have to make the lava thicker, which will lead to many pigs just burning in the lava including their drops, some falling through while burning and some just skipping through the lava in less than a tick, not getting set on fire)

also one last question, as i have been trying to get ahold of you almost every day from december through to february, is there any way to contact you in case a serious issue occurs? as you surely know there has been the issue of drops stacking onto the oldest drop instead of the newest like it used to be on cc (and luckily does again) which i was trying my best to get fixed for over 5 months with many struggles. first bugreport that i know of (wasnt mine) got rejected with "its closer to vanilla so not a bug and no need to fix" as reason, then a month after i had collected many people together on a forum thread to spread awareness about the issue and highlight that this is serious to the mods, opened a bugreport myself which in return took 1 1/2 months to get acknowledged, another 2 weeks to be rejected and another week for the issue to be fixed ( i still dont know what the final reasoning for this was). this practically disabled the best conventional moneyfarm on skyblock for months and there was no way of bringing this to you attention directly (ive tried pinging you daily and whenever u were online in december and january, without success), as this really wasnt handled nor acknowledged optimally

1. the player itself is a hopper
2. spiders dont drop spider eyes unless they are player killed. there is plenty of designs around to allow for this safely with low effort

you need to scaffold, and you have to do the whole stack at once so 4 blocks is pretty much what you are liited to\

Yes, but still at least 400 or so pigspawners is recommended before you start investing into creepers, you could also double ur income before and finish the pigfarm, as it still takes ages to get the money for those creepers (and for me personally, upgrading to creepers isnt worth it)

Honest question, how do people come up with the idea that signs and string would be easier to place, i mean doing so would need you to build hundreds of either support ladders that you remove or whole Support layers while going from top to bottom

Or scaffolds, but thatd still mean placing and removing an extra 30k blocks or so

thats 7 layers from 1 layer only looking up

cause jumping exists

you place the signs with the support block being the signs, classic trap style

and in reality you only need a row of blocks every 5 or so rows

so thats /5 scafold blocks

on top of the fact you can just...nerd pole up, place, and continue the pole

break the pole when that area is done

repeat however many areas

main problem with signs is that if you break the wrong block, all the signs breaks

you need to be exactly perfect view angle wise

which is impossible vanilla

Meanwhile fencegates are get the structure down, open up yt and hold jump and place for a minute, then hold rightclick for half a minute
