@high junco im sorry that you have ti be the person in between us and the devs here but this issue clearly hasnt been looked at from the skyblock side/ skyblock is once again getting ignored by whoever is responsible for those decisions. Please read the replies you got in here to this matter and forward them to the devs.
Or get rubik in here/ in a chat with me on the forum as this matter isnt any that can just be brushed off like that. Especially since rubiks objective is to make earlygame more enjoyable this should be very important to him too as this makes the entire skyblock progression after savannah island a lot harder.
And in case that fir whatever reason changing the stacking back to old is impossible, there would be solitutions that can solve this issue otherwise, its just not on iut side but the developers side. As for exame a custom block that lets all items through but is impenetrable for mobs would be a potential (and quite easy) solution without changing much.

And yes i do understand that many players are like "oh i have to talk to the devs for this and that trivial matter". However my case isnt any other trivial case, i have been fighting since 4 months to bring this issue towards rubiks attention by any means.

tldr: every time you get hit, you get 0.5 seconds of immunity (for anything). IF you get hit by something of greater damage then the original damage source while still invincible, you will take extra damage without the hit sound

you can technically abuse this to hit mobs faster (its how the 2+2 zero cycle works for speedruns)
