They still phase through
open air farm with the spawners in the middle of a 9 by 9 grid of hoppers. put 2 high blocks around it so the mobs cant get out, just be careful not to fall in stack the spawners on top of each other, and put buttons on the side of them, as well as a block on top. It has less spawning space than any other farm, but you don't have any issue with mobs phasing through stuff, and the mobs drop as soon as they spawn. Plus its super easy to build, I can bang one out in less than 10 minutes.
and if you need to adjust the fall heights, all you need to do is to move the spawners up or down, as needed

also just so you know, if you need money you just stand at that farm for a minute or so and probably have enough to buy what you need. otherwise even with an afk farm that uses chests, to get any amount comparable to this farms hourly rate, youd take more than 4x the time just breaking, selling and then replacing chests. youre welcome.

Cause when you have less lava layers all pigs won't be set on fire because of server desync. The ones spawning out of the highest spawners will fall too fast and just go trough the lava and not be set on fire.
This is exactly what is happening, when and if you get creepers you should remove the lava.

different hitbox, glasspanes+fences are for pigs, walls+lanterns are for creepers because creepers are thinner than pigs and can just fall through the glass/fence setup sometimes
