heres where your wrong, for afk pig farms, this is something called a cap rate farm because it summons the mob cap worth and kills them faster than the 3 seconds for the spawner to attempt to respawn more mobs, it cant spawn faster, not only that but it has 98% spawn efficiency which is the highest on the server making it the cheapest spawner cost for a cap rate farm on the entire server. now as for the problem with loss, this cant be avoided while using the setup shown their called manual sell due to a fairly recent bug that the devs have yet to fix, when this bug is fixed, the loss rate would be 0%, currently its over 50% due to the bug, only way around this is to make it non-afk or to use a chest design which is frankly horrible too.

im trying to justify the case of simpler players like cryt said. which in this case is reality. no "simpler" player would think of using open fencegates on that scale even as in gulbs farm, they dont even know how it works. most players only know mob droppers and that it. same as most players only know how to use a button or lever for redstone but dont know how to build an automatic door with pistons
