tldr: the higher "tier" mob the more xp they drop. and tbh xp farms just straight aint needed till you have access to zombies (and even then, ores are better atp). using undead mobs if you must for any xp farm, the regular other mobs just arent worth it due to the scaling of sharpness being half as much as smite
