Remove it. Place a 2 thick lava layer like at least 15 blocks above killflorr and 15 below spawners. Then there are no issues whatsoever

you can jump place 50 gates then sneak on the side and hold your interact button to get down

long answer: kind of, you need a bit less wood but the placing (personally) feels more frustrating because you need to stack up with dirt or smth like that, because saddly we dont have bamboo, and it is easier to miss a few spawnspots which could slightly reduce the efficency but nothing to worry about too much 🙂

Make like a 5 by 5 box with it hollowed in the middle then add a layer of water at the top and the bottom sealed of with signs then a layer of flowing water below that and use a spawner to out the xkickens on the first layer of stagnant water something like this

This will allow the chickens to float on the water and when they lay eggs the eggs will fall into the flowing water and can be collected via hoppers or manual hope it helped!
