The easiest method that I sadly discovered too late is making a composter, everytime you plant Beetroot, Wheat, or anything that drops seeds, but the remains there to make bonemeal, you'll have access to White dye from the very beginning without noticing

in bedrock there used to be a bug where mobs going between chunks would lose their data, so the custom loot table didnt apply correctly

and in java you were able to keep menu data between server transitions, so you could for example

open the skywars kit selection menu whilst in skyblock, and take every single item out

those are the only really broken bugs i remember

bedrock also had a bug where you could de sync the villager, and bypass the rightclick detection so you would click the villager and trade with it instead of opening the menu

The main factor that determines the efficiency is killtime. As long as the mobs die in under 3 seconds from spawn and you have atleast a 9x3x9 spawn area around each spawner it's fine

Basically since there's a wide enough gap on the inbetweens, they can spawn on the side of the block
