So it deletes it stack by stack extremely slowly

If that's the case

You'd still manage to get items quick enough in a mob farm til you reach your 5 mins timer if you make items fast enough

Reaching numbers like you have

Now for chests

Because all items drop at once

It detects all of those items as the oldest stack

Because they dropped on the same tick

And delete them on the same tick

Deleting them all at the same time effectively increasing the deleting speed

Basically what I'm saying is I believe the item cap is somewhere between 100-108

But the algorithm is extremely bad at picking the old items

One was ages ago, there was an old bug on java, if you killed a mob with netherite items it had an extremely low chance to drop a netherite unbreakable

Back in the day that this bug existed, not only were getting spawners high enough to where you could get this chance was difficult, and also the time span and drop chances were incredibly low

1 person ended up getting a sword, then they lost it and then an admin replaced it for them

The second person was more recent, within the past few months actually, someone was given a netherite pickaxe as a sorry pity gift when the bug which deleted people's islands was happening (they did have backups luckily)
