The more spawnspace the more mobs can spawn per spawncycle and one cycle takes 20 seconds, so if u kill all spawned mobs within these before the next spawn ull get the max output of a spawner

Yeah thats a good start, for the best efficiency tho, let then spawn 127 blocks above you and then drop 123-124 blocks above you (they dont spawn higher than 128 blocks above the player), and upgrade then to about level 42-45, then theyre quite onehit, altho the tough ones may still have a few hp
