If you want to just build it higher make a small platform with 2 cactus one hopper and chest, then afk.

Wall to the chain like this O | . Inbetween This part is the issue. The wall is 8x8 pixels. Chain is 4x4 pixels on the none long side. We half these values since we only use 1 half the block as inbetween values. This puts 4 pixels from the wall and 2 pixels from the chain. Totally 6 pixels inbetween of a 16 pixel block gap 10-6 = 10 pixels gap. Because of how the checkered pattern works the length way values is always 16 since nothing connects. Making it a 10x16 pixel gap.A creeper is 0.6x0.6 making it 16*0.6 = 9.6 pixels. 9.6x9.6 fall though a 10x16 allowing creeper through.@jolly hemlock

Just like with hoppers , yet you use chains or pots for pig and skulls or pots and wall checkered for creepers, water travels 8 blocks. to move items i found pressure plates work for turns and stops water from flowing together. soul sand will push items up. And magma blocks bring them down with water

on a simple 2x2 kill chamber for piglins on wither roses I am having trouble getting an automatic collection system working. I have placed 4 minecarts with hoppers on top of hoppers (broken rails) but it doesn;t seem to pick everything up, and seems to leave things hanging around. The kill chamber outer layer has carpet on top of string which is on wooden blocks. Any ideas to get this working better

From a minute burn test out of that sample (accurate but not very accurate but accurate enough) your around 950k exp per hour which is 0-400 in 41.5 minutes

Which sounds about correct if we take into account the fact that entity cramming isn't taking effect

So we'd compare to my new farms value

192/72 = 2.666...
2500000/2.666... = 937k

You can make it any size you wish just harder to set up the lava layer, I start with a 8 long 5 wide ( inner size ) pigman only need to fall from 22 blocks high when going through lava.

The easiest now and less hoppers is chains 3 block over a water stream. The drop hole i use is 5 by 8 (middle) and 30 block tall , chains should give you room underneath for water stream your. Use open fence gates at 18 blocks to put 3 buckets of lava, then place 5 to 6 layers of fence gates in the middle starting at 23 blocks up from chains. Place pig spawners in the walls at 23 to 28 up, make sure to keep any platform that will enables spawning 2 blocks above, and 4 block away

Your exp farm makes 1.05mil exp per hour (we have maths and vuds to prove it)

352mil/1.05 = 335 hours

335/24 = 13.9 days

You have a full time job and the server closes every 2-3 hours
You also have kids

assuming you work 8 hours a day for 5 days a week and reset your exp counter perfectly everytime and get the full 3 hours into work, that creates a net loss of 25 hours a week of exp. 15/7= 2.14

2.14x25 = 53.5

15 days = 360 hours

360-53.5 = 306.5 hours

306.5/24 = 12.77 days

12.77<13.9

This math proves its impossible for you to have reached your level without a macro.
