I should be able to do this by using that 2 block lava gap as an entry. Hopper align all items by bashing them against a chest to push them on the edge of hoppers while still being able to move through ice and water without falling inside the hopper holes. Then I can use this to create a loop through water to create a massive storage system without the hopper item limit @wheat solstice so dw you can still have chests as backup^
