Incorrect. To get flint everytime you just need fortune 3 on anything. A fortune 3 shovel is best. A regular pickaxe would mine gravel normally

Flint always drops if you have fortune 3+. If you have no enchants on a pickaxe and mine the gravel, it's still only a 10%. Fortune 3 is what increases the chance. A fortune 3 shovel is the best

they spawn, it spawns the mob ofset from the gate and they fall instantly

not a bug. dw guys. they had insufficient lighting for the carrots
@west warren ignore the bottom ones that are opened because the spawners can't reach them. But you can see they spawn through the close ones. This only affects fencegates so it won't be an annoying problem. Technically it's harmless. Just makes farms slightly easier to build
