Yes but the thing with spawners on cc is that they immediately go to your invetory when you mine them. If you don't have any free slots then they go to your off hand or where your armour should be

it does act differently than vanilla bc each level mob has a different amount of health. i just built a really big tower and tested how much damage they took around every 20 blocks or so and narrowed it down pretty fast. idk what level spawners you have

Health and armor and damage depends on level of mob. Spawner spawn range is 4 in all directions. 1 up and 3-4 down. Mobs cant spawn on air (but we use open fence gates)
Spawners can spawn mobs from up to 4 levels below the spawner and the spawner level itself. And tough mobs tend to be ~150% the level of the spawner unless it's a low level spawner
