Yup hehe it is. Until they patch it, it basically is the best, and when they patch it I already know a way around it

There's a 1.5 block gap where the pigmen can see you
They auto aggro onto you gibe them the player death tag (since aggroed pigmen count as player death no matter what the death is)
And then with the amount of pigmen in there, they all just start dying from entity cramming
The only downside to the farm is you need aro
Around 20 dummy spawners of the same kind and level
To start the cramming
After that the rate increase is constant

I think the dev said it was vanilla behaviour; might be remembering wrong. How I tamed them was, shifting and looking at them up and down
