Well it’s just that for without water and just falling. The witches are going to spawn, fall die, spawn fall die, repeat. But with water the witches will have to spawn, flow down the water path, then fall, then die. You see how that’s inefficient. That is why no one uses fractals design late game

Now that I see it more. That Is beyond inefficient because if the chests full up the Minecraft won’t be able to get every chest at fast so items will just stack above the hoppers and not be transported. Problably better off just placing hoppers in those slots

Thanks, it was mainly just building stuff to be honest. E.g. I'd flattened the island and built slightly around it, so I can always get that progress back. As it resets that one island it does effectively duplicate the items by the way if that helps
