well a simple solution i do is to just make sure i dont needlessly hold onto anything that i want to keep, and when i am about to hold onto items (tools etc) i go to hub and back before taking them out of chest

Quick little psa, there’s a quest in the early game that awards you quite a few potion of regeneration. Save those as it’s the only way you will be able to complete a quest that comes up all the way in the end game being that beacons are bugged. Doing that very thing just saved me
