Difference between Java and bedrock is it doesn't have to load from disk in bedrock anymore it just regenerates the unaltered chunks.

Saving several gigabytes of data on servers when somebody's just Flying around your world.

Disk IO tend to be the biggest bottle neck. Bedrock is much faster than Java when it comes to compressing and retrieving data.

Bedrock is also more efficient than Java at storage space, 27GB world is 15GB in Bedrock.

It's not off the top. It works just like the boosters so it literally makes the boosters 2.1 ect
