Keep in mind that the actual plant needs 10 minutes to grow and then another 2,25 minutes for the pumpkin part. After collecting the pumpkin you’ll only need to wait 2,25 as the actual plant is already fully grown.

Mobs spawn on a 5 (or 6 dunno) block radius from the spawner on blocks. Even if there is a wall inbetween. They do require blocks to spawn on

Using cocoa beans you should get the coins without too much work
