Everything will grow, but the cactus will only register the fence post when you get online unfortunately. So you have to be there for it to drop, but not while it's growing

Ive had to buy lapis and coal generators, cow and chicken spawners which were not cheap but I managed. Right now I am trying to buy a spider spawner at 300k while only getting around 15-20k from wheat. Its slow going.
