If you want to make it more efficient I would say add more chests that they can funnel into because soon enough you’ll have a whole chest filling very fast and it’ll get backed up

Oak trees make sure trees are semi far apart so you get as much leaves per tree as you can, if they are to close then not alot of leaves per tree, and or use axe with enchant fortune

Also, the gold quest are more important then the blue quest. As gold is main quest and way to unlock the islands, as blue are just side quests

So they're forced inside
