I won’t disagree with you there, but I don’t think a lack of updates is the only reason.

Still, I’d consider the server to be dead if all the games I usually play won’t fill up regularly, and a large majority of them are still playable so I wouldn’t consider it dead just yet.

Yes path 2 archer has the highest AoE and DPS, path 1 is quite useless. The fastest way to get points will honestly be others games or making sure you get “top player,” for each game. (Sending high level troops, placing the most towers, etc) TD XP/points isn’t the greatest

Strategy wise, make sure you also have the max ice tower next it’s pretty essential; ice towers covering the entire track can kill most early waves of mobs depending on the map size

Yeah, it sucks cause a lot of games I used to play are just literally unplayable, especially solo eggwars. I’ve tried the teamed mode but it just isn’t the same.

Im worried they’re gonna shut down the java server soon and focus entirely on bedrock, just like what happened to the old hive server.

That’s how I was at first, then I played bedrock for a week straight and java felt weird to me after going back. They feel very different to eachother. Bedrock has more consistent kb and is a lot easier to win games in, but it’s missing a lot of quality of life features available on java. On the other hand, java has inconsistent kb but is far more competitive and it is way more difficult to be good in.

mcbe is better for a casual player imo. Easier opponents in pvp, and its a lot easier to run the game and play with your friends, survival is okay as well despite missing a few key features. Java is better if you really want to get into the game with how open ended it is.
