I'd say why that didn't work was because you placed the tnt a bit too fast, if they blow up at the same time the 2nd tnt doesnt damage the player. Or they just chugged enough gaps 🙂

I meant that if 2 tnt's explode at the same time you will only take damage from 1, as it makes you invincible for damage for a short amount of time. I saw when pablito placed the tnt's and noticed how impressively fast it was. I was just assuming that this happened to the tnt's that he placed, only with 7 tnt's where maybe 3 or 4 did not do any damage.

Yes that can sometimes be true, but in this case Pablito just placed 7 tnt real fast, meaning they would explode in quick succession.

I was also thinking it could be a bug, seeing as nothing has been said in changelog. You could always create a bug report and see what the admins/developers/QA say about it.
