I don't think you need to disect the rule too much though, most punishments are open to the mods opinion now so if someone is doing something wrong they will be punished. Just don't break an obvious rule like AFK win farming and you'll be fine

I don't know, it's likely they just didn't have time to make gameplay rules yet as it's a new game, if needed I'm sure they'll disallow teaming. But as I said, ATM they're probably using the rule that when there is no team mode of a game, teaming is allowed in the solo mode. Which obviously is now a bit obsolete seen as it doesn't hold true to Lucky Islands and Skywars, but in other cases, in arcade games for example, this used to apply

Nah Minerware is already updated to 1.19, the problem is that most games in it have resource pack models and therefore would require redoing for java or they'd have big performance hits. Alternatively they could be disabled for java but then you lose like 30% of the games.
But it would also need a few weeks of testing too.

But let's be honest, while fun, Minerware would not bring in new players. It's not a strong enough game.

Partly. There were loads of reasons to merge java and bedrock code, it just made the most sense.
Having a set of code for java EggWars and another for bedrock EggWars, like 85-90% of the code is exactly the same between them, so it makes no sense to have them split.

If you spent a week developing something for java then it'd take an additional day or two to get it onto bedrock too. Now it's just done for both as soon as you're finished.

But yeh, Austin is technically the only game dev left, but Tessa, Jaden, and Rubik are also covering some game dev and update stuff I believe, to account for removing most of the game team.

Java is generally more stable, you can do slightly more intensive calculations with it, on the account that it's always running on a usual ok PC.

Bedrock you have to make sure you're being extra careful with your code, because it might be running on someone's potato. Bedrock optimises custom models and resource pack stuff WAY better than java though.

You can do more with bedrock, but java is better made.
