Currently, according to bStats, there are 168k servers online. This number is likely higher but lets go for it in this example. Out of this example, lets assume that 170 of them have 1000 players online (this is an exaggerated estimate and the real number is lower). If we take 170 / 168,000, we get 0.001. Converted to percentage, this is 0.1%

So, with that in mind, 0.1% of Minecraft servers have 1000 or more players online, and if having 1000 players or less is the requirement for being a "dead" server, that means that 99.9% of Minecraft servers are "dead"

u did somewhat sucessfully stop decline, however before the cut it was 1.5k players and after 1k max (sometimes even 800-900 players)

those die hard players are eager for ur 1.19 update, which was supposed to come out last month, but i guess code really does go BRRRRR. those die hard fans are gonna leave if it isn’t released in the next month or 2

tubnet only averages that playercount because it was delayed, i dont even think tubbo plays on it that much and its riddled with bugs

1.19 will take a long time to develop for because its so poorly optimised and large networks will struggle with ensuring that gamemodes can have high playercounts without lagging using it

1.19 will improve the playercount tho as i looked at the roadmap and a lot of cool things are happening behind the scenes

maybe in the future cubecraft will use software like minestom to improve performance and make everything extremely custom and smooth

it uses less than 1gb of ram and it has alot of features
