idk how to make suggestions to the guys that run cubecraft so i'll just do it here but what if they remade that npc that was always on the left side of the lobby that switched gamemodes like every 48 hours what if they made that npc but made it switch between the team versions of gamemodes so for example:
monday + tuesday: lucky islands team mode
wednesday + thursday: skywars team mode
friday + saturday: egg wars team mode
sunday: idk maybe a special gamemode like minerware or smn i rly dont know
but then readjusted so that on friday and saturday the most popular game mode is available but im not sure which one that is

this would reduce the server costs but still make all the games available. i think its worth a look for the devs idk

story (a cube admin) literally said it doesn’t cost cubecraft extra money to host additional maps
their plan to remove maps to “prevent decline” is nonsense because the remaining java player base will get bored of the maps that are currently available
at the very least for big maps like tea party they could make it so each team only has 3 players instead of 5 so the games actually start
but this is cubestaff logic so i’m not suprised they made a decision as stupid as this
