The fire spirit is unlocked in arena 4, aka Pekkas playhouse. It is primarily used as a cycle card which means it is low cost, being 1 elixir and makes it easy for players to easily get back to a certain card. Paired with the other spirits, it can make a cycle deck. The fire spirit is the first of 4 spirits unlocked in the game. It deals splash damage and does just a bit less damage than a fireball. It doesn't have much health, but if the enemies crown tower levels are the same or lower than the fire spirits, that it will connect and deal a lot of damage. As I said earlier, it does splash damage and can be used to take out low damage swarm troops such as goblins and skeletons. A way to counter these is to kill them before they spawn with a fast ranged troop like wizard or use a building or high health troop to absorb the damage done by the fire spirit. A different card, unlocked later in the game called furnace costing 4 elixir can even spawn these from a building and drop one upon being destroyed. This can be very useful if your furnace is the same or higher level than the opponents king level because the fire spirits summoned will continue to connect and over time without being defended, will deal a lot of damage. The furnace can easily be countered by a fireball

Bugged? Actually the disappearing materials stop disappearing once you put them on the slots of a crafting table

If it's not diamond, you can also make them into blocks/nuggets

If you wanna craft stuff later with it.
