saturation is basicaly when u have full hunger but when you eat things such as gapples or god apples (chorus fruit, suspicous stew, and/or when you eat a food witch gives 4 bars but u only need 2, so u get 2). If you have saturation you regen like crazy. Foods like steak and cooked mutton give saturation wether you are full or not. Sry for long post
