I've always seen camping as playing chess, you're in it for the long game and have to take several calculated risks in order to ensure victory down the line while securing as many resources as possible.

And rushing as more of a game of whack a mole.
You need speed and precision to preform at a high level.
It takes alot of coordination, and the ability to think fast and make quick decisions.

Both styles have their own advantages and disadvantages.

And both in my experience
